The new generation Peugeot 5008 is distributed in two versions: Allure and GT Premium with starting prices from 55,990 AUD (952.46 million VND) in the Australian market. This new 7-seat SUV Peugeot 5008 2025 will target customers who value practicality and fuel economy, while still wanting a modern design and comfortable interior.
The Peugeot 5008 2025 is built on the modern STLA Medium platform – the same architecture as the Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland and Citroën C5 Aircross. This is an electrification-friendly platform, preparing for the Stellantis Group's global electric vehicle development strategy. In terms of interior, the car's cabin stands out with a 21-inch curved HD screen, combining a digital clock cluster and central entertainment system in a unified cluster. The car has a sports steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, AI voice control and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
The high-end GT Premium version has 10-way power-adjustable Nappa leather front seats, massage and cooling features, and adaptive Pixel LED headlights. Practicality on the 5008 is still maintained by Peugeot. The car has a second row of seats that can slide, fold in a 60:40 ratio and have separately adjustable backrests, increasing flexibility in daily use. In Australia, the 2025 Peugeot 5008 will only be available as a mild hybrid (MHEV). It is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric motor integrated into the e-DCS6 (electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission).
The engine block produces a total capacity of 143 horsepower. This configuration provides a balance between performance and fuel efficiency. This model will not be available to customers until September this year. It is predicted that the 5008 2025 will also be launched in the Vietnamese market soon.
