In this match, not only was she the one who started the spectacular comeback for the club, K'Thua also had a great contribution in the goal that sealed the score at 5-4 when the opposing team's central defender headed the ball into her own net. She was the one who ran after and put pressure on the opposing player so that he could not clear the ball before the goal line.

K'Thua - a young Co Ho girl, was the most talked about by experts, the press and fans after the match. On a day when seniors like Thuy Trang and Huynh Nhu did not score, her appearance at the beginning of the second half made a difference.

After the historic victory, K'Thua was voted the best player of the match by the Organizing Committee. The image of K'Thua playing with great effort and dedication on the field became a symbol of the will to rise up.

Throughout the journey of HCMC Women's Club in the most prestigious club tournament in Asia, K'Thua left a big mark. Possessing speed, physical foundation and good technique, she played an important role in the midfield, helping the team control the match and create many dangerous situations.

In the semi-finals, K'Thua and his teammates will face a challenge from Wuhan Jiangda of China. This match will take place on May 21st on the away field.

Not only in the continental arena, in the domestic tournament, K'Thua's very important role also helps Ho Chi Minh City Club - despite the absence of Huynh Nhu, Bich Thuy, Kim Thanh... - still have enough strength to dominate the domestic tournament for a long time.

The interesting thing about K'Thua's name is that her colleagues gave her the nickname "Khong Thua", because on the back of her shirt, her name is written "K THUA".

Send home 2.5-3 million VND/month

Born in Phi To commune, Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province, K'Thua grew up in difficult circumstances. Her parents had to work on the fields to support her four siblings. Because of the hardships of life, she was forced to drop out of school in the 9th grade to help support her family.

From a young age, K'Thua had a love for football. She often played football with her friends on the open fields of the village. After witnessing the Co Ho girl score 7 goals in a match, coach Tuyet Mai tried to convince K'Thua to pursue professional football. At the age of 16, K'Thua left the Central Highlands to join the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club, starting a journey full of dreams and challenges.

At first, K'Thua was introverted because he was shy and lacked confidence. But with the encouragement and help of his coach and teammates, the Co Ho player gradually changed and matured quickly.

Vietnam's Golden Ball winner Tran Thi Thuy Trang commented on her junior: "Talent, eagerness to learn, confidence and strong will are what I feel from her. If she continues to try and has more opportunities to show her talent, I believe that K'Thua will be a prominent name in Vietnamese women's football in the near future."

One special thing about K'Thua is that she is not only good on the field but also an excellent player in futsal (indoor soccer). In early 2025, she shone, helping the Vietnamese women's futsal team pass the Asian qualifiers and reach the finals. Her and her teammates' goal is to win 1 of 3 tickets to the FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup 2025 in the Philippines later this year.

Living fully with his passion for football and the dream of playing for the national team in the future, K'Thua does not forget to save every penny of his salary and bonus to send back to his parents in his hometown.

“In addition to my own expenses, I can also send my family 2.5-3 million VND/month. That is not a small amount of money for Co Ho families. Therefore, I have to try harder, because if I play better, I will have a better income and be able to take better care of my family,” K'Thua shared.
