On June 26, CapitaLand Development (CLD) launched the third “Footsteps of Love” campaign in Hanoi, with the support of CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group. The campaign is implemented in partnership with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, to call on the community to join hands to improve the lives of children and adolescents througheducation programs and essential resource support.

This campaign demonstrates CapitaLand’s long-term commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of communities in Vietnam. In Hanoi , the campaign will take place from 26 June to 12 October, with the participation of employees, partners and the community, including two main activities: an online step challenge and an outdoor walking event.
CHF has committed to raising up to $97,000 when the community reaches the goal of 400 million online steps and 40 million steps at the outdoor event. Participants are encouraged to log their steps throughout the online campaign, and come together for an outdoor walk in Ocean City, Hanoi on October 12. The outdoor event will feature two beautiful walking routes of 2km and 5km, suitable for all ages. Participants can register at https://togetherwestep.vn/ha-noi-2025/.

This grant is part of a three-year commitment of USD 270,000 (over VND 6.7 billion) to support street children and students in Vietnam. Previously, CHF donated USD 75,000 (over VND 1.8 billion) to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, which supports the social resilience of children and adolescents through education, vocational training, career guidance, life skills development and leadership capacity.

According to Mr. Do Duy Vi - Co-Executive Director of Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, love is not simply a humanistic value, but also a source of strength to bring about positive changes, especially for disadvantaged children. Blue Dragon Children's Foundation is honored to continue to accompany CapitaLand in the 'Footsteps of Love' campaign this time to support more street children to have the opportunity to study, helping them have a safe future, full of knowledge and hope.

Since 2011, CLD, through the CHF, has contributed approximately VND70 billion (equivalent to S$3.6 million) to corporate social responsibility activities in Vietnam. These initiatives have brought practical benefits to more than 19,000 children and young people, with over 26,000 volunteer hours from CapitaLand employees and the community. Some typical activities include upgrading facilities at 5 schools in Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Long An and Bac Giang provinces; and educational programs such as “School Bags”, “CapitaLand Kids Scholarship”, and “Nutrition Project” under the “CapitaLand Hope Schools” program.
