Thien Tam Fund received the First Class Labor Medal

The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has just signed a decision to award the First Class Labor Medal to Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation. This is a noble award from the State in recognition of the Fund's 19-year journey of persistent volunteering, accompanying millions of disadvantaged lives and promoting sustainable progress for the community.

Every holiday season, Thien Tam Fund regularly gives hundreds of thousands of gifts to policy families and people with difficult lives.

With the spirit of mutual love and the mission "For a better life for everyone", Vingroup has proactively participated in charity and social work with a total disbursed budget of 30,000 billion VND.

Of which, disbursement through Thien Tam Fund (established on October 3, 2006) is nearly 15,000 billion VND, for over 50 programs in 34/34 provinces and cities. After 19 years of operation, the Fund has become the largest private charity organization in scale and influence in Vietnam.

Thien Tam Fund not only actively participates in most of the country's charitable fields such as: gratitude, social security and poverty reduction, culture, education, health, transportation, agriculture , environment, prevention and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics, community development... but also pioneers in accompanying and creating livelihoods for millions of people across the country.

Specifically, in the field of Gratitude and social security, Thien Tam Fund has supported nearly 1,000 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former youth volunteers, and Agent Orange victims; supported living expenses for more than 1,200 orphans due to COVID-19 and more than 1,000 single and disabled people; provided monthly support to more than 50 charity facilities that are caring for and nurturing orphans, disabled, and lonely and homeless elderly people; and accompanied volunteer groups to organize cooking and distributing free meals at many hospitals nationwide. In particular, on every holiday, the Fund regularly gives hundreds of thousands of gifts to policy families and poor households to express gratitude and sharing.

Nam Ke Primary Boarding School ( Dien Bien ) - one of the projects inaugurated and put into use by the Fund in May 2025.

In the field of housing and infrastructure, Thien Tam Fund has awarded nearly 27,000 houses of gratitude and love to replace temporary houses; completed nearly 500 civil works, including 335 schools, boarding houses, 400 km of roads, 10 civil bridges and 90 clean water works, paving the way for sustainable changes in the community.

Thien Tam Fund offers 0% interest loans to support agricultural cooperatives to develop and create livelihoods for the local poor.

Not only showing gratitude and sharing, Thien Tam Fund also pioneered in creating sustainable livelihoods to escape poverty through calf banks, modernizing agriculture and creating jobs for people. Specifically, the Fund has donated 25,000 breeding cows, thousands of machines, vehicles, seedlings and animals, helping more than 11,000 households escape poverty; creating jobs for tens of thousands of poor households through local programs.

In particular, the Fund has taken the lead in applying high technology to agricultural projects such as the HDPE offshore sea cage model; the Israeli smart irrigation system to improve nutrients for citrus trees... not only increasing income for fishermen and farmers but also contributing to improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.

In the field of health, over the past 19 years, Thien Tam Fund has sponsored thousands of billions of VND for people's health care, free examination and surgery for 7 million people, supported operating costs for a network of 1,200 midwives in remote villages, sponsored 1,000 billion VND to upgrade the emergency system outside hospitals, and donated over 26,000 units of blood each year. The Fund also focuses on training human resources in the health sector such as training 530 doctors in mountainous and island areas, sponsoring non-communicable disease screening in dozens of localities across the country, contributing to improving the quality of people's health.

Tens of thousands of new computers were donated by Thien Tam Fund to students in remote areas to foster knowledge and provide opportunities to access information technology in the digital age.

In the field of education, Thien Tam Fund has awarded 90,000 scholarships to poor but studious students, 16,200 computers to nearly 1,000 schools, opening the door to knowledge and creating life-changing opportunities for thousands of young people across the country.

In addition to long-term programs, Thien Tam Fund is always a pioneer in supporting natural disasters and emergency epidemics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fund has allocated 7,500 billion VND for epidemic prevention; provided tens of thousands of tons of necessities, medical equipment and supported hundreds of billions of VND for severely affected localities.

With the recent super typhoon Yagi, Thien Tam Fund supported 250 billion VND in cash for people in the storm-affected areas, reconstructed 13 civil works and deployed emergency relief, helping to stabilize lives and restore production.

In particular, the event series “Sowing Seeds of Kindness” has called for an additional 22 billion VND from businesses and individuals, contributing to the construction of 2 schools in Lao Cai, bringing better learning conditions to 800 students in the highlands.

Speaking about this honor, Mr. Ly Minh Tuan (Director of Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation) said: “The First Class Labor Medal is a great honor and also a responsible reminder for us to continue to persevere in serving the community, upholding the Group's spirit of charity and spreading more good things in society. Representative of Thien Tam Fund presented a symbolic plaque to donate temporary housing to stabilize the lives of people in Nu village after the disaster caused by Typhoon Yagi in 2024.
