Ready for the Opening Ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)

On August 27, at the National Exhibition Center, Comrade Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired a meeting to review the experience of preparing for the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Attending the meeting were leaders of Departments, Divisions, units and localities participating in organizing the exhibition; on the side of Dien Bien province, there was Comrade Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and units.

The National Achievements Exhibition with the theme “80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” will open at 8:30 a.m. on August 28. In particular, the art program at the Opening Ceremony will spread the message of pride about the great achievements in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country over the past 80 years. This is also an important highlight in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 - an opportunity for the entire Party, people and army to look back on the glorious past; arousing the aspiration for prosperous development and happiness for the country in the new period.

At the meeting, representatives of the Sub-Committees reported on the preparations for the opening ceremony of the Exhibition, including: Reception, procedures for welcoming delegates; traffic flow to welcome guests to the opening ceremony; traffic flow of Party and State leaders and guests attending the opening ceremony; facilities and equipment in the area of ​​the stage holding the Opening Ceremony; protection plans, traffic flow, medical and first aid positions; security and safety plans.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: After more than a month of urgently implementing activities for the National Achievements Exhibition, up to now, the preparations for the Opening Ceremony have basically been completed, ready for the event taking place on the morning of August 28. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested units to focus on preparations so that the Opening Ceremony must be solemn, thoughtful, creating a deep impression of the scale and stature of the Exhibition. Based on the comments of the delegates, the Organizing Committee will adjust and complete the plan, ensuring the Opening Ceremony takes place successfully.
