The exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is a special highlight, not only honoring the glorious historical journey, but also spreading patriotism, national pride, aspiration to rise up, affirming Vietnam's potential and position on the path of innovation, integration and sustainable development.

The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of ​​the Exhibition Center.

The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 industries in various fields (industry, agriculture, trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, traditional craft villages, OCOP products, special products, national defense, security, foreign affairs...) with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and quite comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements during the "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" of our nation under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam ; at the same time, demonstrating the cultural traditions, the spirit of enthusiastic work, effective production and business of the people and enterprises in all regions of the country; especially depicting the image of the country and people of Vietnam with thousands of years of heroic history of the nation; the culture imbued with national identity and unity in diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of products in all three regions of the North - Central - South; the development and progress of all ministries, departments, branches, 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years.

Lai Chau's exhibition space has an area of ​​180m², belonging to the "Rich Province, Strong Country" subdivision with the theme "Lai Chau - Aspiration for Development" including 3 main subdivisions.

Lai Chau brings to the exhibition the province's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development.

In zone 1 - "Lai Chau - The majestic frontier land", the beginning of the 80-year flow. This space will help viewers return to the space of historical memories and resistance, where Lai Chau's army and people steadfastly clung to their land, maintaining the border through each period from the resistance war against the French, the Americans, to the period of renovation and development.

Images and documents about the Lai Chau Party Committee, about the attention of Uncle Ho and the Central Committee are evidence of the trust and strength that the whole country has placed in the borderland; some artifacts associated with the cultural and spiritual life of some compatriots representing 20 ethnic groups of Lai Chau province (such as Mang, Ha Nhi, Si La, Mong, Dao...); administrative boundary marks of Lai Chau province established in 1909 to the times of merger and re-establishment...

In zone 2 - "The solid frontier land", Lai Chau recreates the journey of more than 21 years of construction and development - a Lai Chau with innovation, sustainable growth, improved people's lives, preserved cultural identity, strong national defense - security, and at the same time expanding exchanges, cooperation and integration. Including the colors of ethnic groups, the quintessence of typical traditional crafts and typical products such as tea, honey, specialty rice, indigenous medicinal herbs...; diverse cultures of ethnic communities such as bustling markets, ethnic language classes, colorful traditional costumes...; Lai Chau - through numbers and images, the "Original Tree" is a symbol, recreating the cultural soul of Lai Chau. Along with the artifacts, the zone also has videos about culture, economy, and future orientation.

Coming to Zone 3 - "Steady progress" is the end of the exhibition journey. If zone 1 originates from nature and history, zone 2 depicts today's achievements, then zone 3 opens up the strategic vision and development aspirations of Lai Chau until 2030, with a vision to 2050.

With the desire to move towards a modern urban area, exploiting tourism potential, developing industry, high-tech agriculture and digital transformation. Including: Lai Chau city planning map - a young, modern urban area, rising to become a new development driving force of the Northwest region; Map of spatial organization and functional zoning of the province (highlighted by Eden Garden - green resort space; Ma Lu Thang border gate economic zone - international trade gateway; Muong So industrial park - new industrial center; with Pac Ta and Phieng Phat stream - eco-tourism highlights associated with indigenous culture); Overview of the vision to 2050 (green, sustainable economy; culture - society rich in identity, improving people's lives; education - science and technology catching up with modern trends and strong national defense - security, maintaining peace at the Fatherland's border).
