"Vietnam has a young, dynamic workforce that is very tech-savvy and highly skilled in areas like semiconductors, microchip design, AI and quantum. I think in every high-tech area, Vietnam has a young, enthusiastic and dynamic population that is ready to work with the US, with our high-tech companies," the diplomat said.

According to him, this is the foundation for Vietnam to become a high-income, high-tech economy in the future. And of course, the US wants to be part of the journey to see Vietnam establish its role as a strategic partner in the global technology supply chain.

Enhance cooperation

In addition, he confirmed that war recovery programs will continue to be implemented after the US State Department reorganized foreign assistance programs, previously undertaken by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

“We are very pleased that these programs are still ongoing, whether it is dioxin remediation, unexploded ordnance clearance, or support for persons with disabilities, because these are the programs that play a fundamental role in building the bilateral relationship, promoting reconciliation, and increasing understanding between the two countries,” the US Ambassador emphasized.
