Isuzu D-Max in Vietnam "big price reduction" to 580 million VND
In addition to boosting sales of the new version, Isuzu dealers are also actively clearing inventory of the old D-Max version with discounts of up to 100 million VND.

In the context of dealers and car companies continuously announcing preferential rates for customers signing deposit contracts in June, consumers have many attractive options. However, for those with limited finances and looking for an affordable car to serve their daily commuting and transportation needs, the Isuzu D-Max pickup truck is considered "suitable for the wallet". According to our latest information, some dealers in Hanoi are offering the 2023 Isuzu D-Max 4x2 AT Prestige with a discount of 100 million VND compared to the old listed price.
Thanks to that, the price of the Isuzu D-Max single-wheel drive automatic version has dropped to 580 million VND. A rare deep reduction since the beginning of the year. At the beginning of the year, these Isuzu D-Max cars were offered a discount of about 55-60 million VND by dealers. With a price of 580 million VND, Isuzu D-Max AT becomes a noteworthy choice when placed next to competitors in the same segment such as Ranger 4x2 AT with a listed price of 707 million VND (excluding registration promotion, it is still around 650 million VND), Toyota Hilux 4x2 AT with a price of 706 million VND, Triton 2WD AT GLX version with a price of 655 million VND. The Isuzu D-Max has a deep discount on the old version. The car is imported from Thailand, so this is considered a bargain for those who do not care about appearance and design.
Compared to the new version launched in Vietnam in October 2024, the 2023 D-Max model being cleared from inventory does not have many differences because the new version has only slightly adjusted the front end. Suzuki equips the D-Max Prestige 4x2 AT with standard equipment including: Bi-LED lights with integrated LED daytime running lights, 7-inch central touch screen, fabric seats with manual adjustment, manual air conditioning, 4-speaker sound system, plastic steering wheel and only 2 airbags. Under the hood of the Isuzu D-Max is a 1.9L engine, producing a maximum capacity of 150 horsepower, maximum torque of 350 Nm. The Prestige 4x2 AT version uses a 6-speed automatic transmission combined with rear-wheel drive. This operating machine continues to be reused on the new upgraded version.
The safety equipment of the Isuzu D-Max Type Z has highlights such as blind spot warning, front/rear parking assist... without active safety systems like the Ford Ranger or Toyota Hilux. After the Mazda BT-50 was temporarily suspended from sale in Vietnam since the beginning of the year, the Isuzu D-Max became the slowest-selling model in the pickup truck segment with only a few units sold each month. Although this model often has big promotions at dealers, that is not enough to attract users.
