According to the cooperation agreement announced by Nokia on October 21, the company will deploy 5G AirScale radio equipment products - Nokia's latest radio product line - to contribute to building 5G network infrastructure for VNPT .
Nokia devices use a processor called ReefShark SoC, which is said to provide superior network connection quality, with high capacity, low latency and energy saving to ensure the best mobile service quality as well as optimize VNPT's network performance.
In addition, Nokia's MantaRay network management solution based on AI (artificial intelligence) technology is also expected to help VNPT enhance its ability to monitor and manage 5G network quality.
Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of VNPT, said: “The cooperation with Nokia will help VNPT quickly deploy a 5G mobile network with the highest quality, meeting the increasing needs of customers in Vietnam.
5G will be the foundation to promote economic development, thereby helping Vietnam accelerate its transformation into a digital economy."

VNPT will build 3,000 5G stations in 2024
Currently, VinaPhone (under VNPT) is allowing Vietnamese users to experience the 5G network for free in many provinces and cities that already have VinaPhone 5G waves.
According to the plan, by the end of 2024, VNPT will complete the installation of over 3,000 VinaPhone 5G transmission stations to ensure strong, stable and continuous coverage, especially in urban areas and major economic centers nationwide.
