Fake it like it's real
The University of Natural Sciences - VNU-HCM said that the school has received complaints from candidates and their families about being scammed. Notably, there have been cases of losing hundreds of millions of dong.
The subjects forged university admission notices, requested money transfers to individuals; used the school's name to send notices of admission to scholarship programs and international student exchange programs. The bad guys required candidates to prove their financial capacity with large sums of money by transferring money to these subjects.
A representative of Ho Chi Minh City International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University said that they also encountered a similar situation, where bad actors provided fake documents, admission notices and attractive scholarships to attract candidates.
According to the admission schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, the International University and member universities of VNU-HCM are still in the process of processing admission data and have not announced the admission results, which means that the school has not issued the admission notice. Candidates need to consider all admission notices at this time.

Fake notice with red stamp, very clear information
The University of Finance and Marketing recommends that all students, parents and partners be extremely vigilant against fake recruitment, scholarship and financial aid information impersonating the school. The school does not require payment or transfer of money to receive scholarships, participate in recruitment or job opportunities.
Raise awareness
Previously, some universities also recorded that many candidates waiting for university entrance exam results received calls from scammers threatening them mentally, slandering them about being involved in money laundering or drug trafficking cases, and demanding urgent money transfers.
Faced with a series of sophisticated scams, universities and colleges warn candidates and parents to absolutely not listen to or follow requests from strange calls. Do not make friends on Zalo or make video calls with strangers or people claiming to be authorities, and at the same time, notify relatives of the date.
Students and parents need to proactively raise their vigilance, carefully research information, especially unusual invitations, unclear high fee requirements, financial proof with very large amounts of money or overly attractive promises.
For candidates waiting for admission results, please only update information on official information channels of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school.
