Notably, the model "Binh Chanh joins hands to help each other overcome difficulties" has been implemented since August 2021, with the method of "2 households with conditions take care of 1 household in difficulty". Thanks to that, all social resources have been mobilized to promote the spirit of mutual love and support. As a result, more than 32,000 households have been cared for with more than 9.4 billion VND in cash and necessities.
At the same time, Binh Chanh Front also deployed the “Delivering Love” model to care for those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The model mobilized resources from cadres, party members, civil servants, and workers.
Up to now, the model has received a total amount of nearly 4 billion VND. All funds are transferred to the District Fund for the Poor to carry out the work of caring for people in the district, especially households in difficult circumstances.
The model of "People's Health Care" has been maintained since 2017, coordinating to organize medical examinations, health consultations, free medicine distribution and gifts for more than 2,000 elderly people, ethnic minorities, poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the district, with a total amount of over 900 million VND.
In 2023 alone, the model organized health consultations, medical examinations, and gifts for nearly 1,000 people, giving 855 gifts worth hundreds of millions of VND.
