Currently, the actual number of imported drugs is 12,550 bags; of which, 5,118 bags have been supplied to hospitals and 7,432 bags are still in the warehouse of the importing facility.

According to the results of monitoring infectious diseases in the country, dengue fever and hand, foot and mouth disease are on the rise in some provinces and cities, especially dengue fever in Hanoi and hand, foot and mouth disease in the Southern region.
In order to proactively implement epidemic prevention measures, not allowing the epidemic to break out, spread and prolong, the Ministry of Health has issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of provinces and cities to continue directing localities to resolutely implement epidemic prevention measures; directing preventive medical facilities to ensure sufficient demand for chemicals, biological products, supplies and equipment for epidemic prevention in the area, especially chemicals for preventing dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and chemical sprayers to thoroughly and effectively handle outbreaks in the area; directing public and non-public medical examination and treatment facilities to ensure readiness of equipment, drugs, especially high molecular infusion solutions for the treatment and emergency care of dengue fever patients to minimize deaths.
