Towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on June 15, the Danang Union of Literature and Arts Associations in collaboration with the Vietnam Literature Magazine organized a workshop on poet Hoang Minh Nhan and Quang Nam culture and arts. At the workshop, writers, poets, journalists, and researchers presented 10 papers on the life and career of poetry and literature, along with profound memories of Hoang Minh Nhan. Thereby, his contributions to creative activities and the development of the youth literature and arts movement were recognized, including many faces who later became prominent names in Quang Nam culture and arts.

Poet Hoang Minh Nhan (1940-2011) was born in Go Noi, Dien Ban, Quang Nam. In 1954, he gathered in the North and studied at Southern Student Schools. In 1965, he became a forestry engineer. However, with a natural talent for literature, in 1970, he was recruited to study in the 4th writing class of the Vietnam Writers Association, a special course for young writers to go to the Southern battlefield. After the peace , poet Hoang Minh Nhan actively participated in the movement activities of the Quang Nam - Da Nang Literature and Arts Association. He traveled a lot and wrote many genres such as poetry, stories, memoirs, novels, etc., of which the most prominent were works on the Central Highlands theme. After retiring, he founded the Center for Research, Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Ethnic Culture in the Central Highlands, and at the same time built the Dat Quang bookshelf with many valuable books.
