The T3 terminal project at Tan Son Nhat Airport has completed more than 83% of the work and is in the process of completing the interior to put into operation on April 30, 2025.

On the afternoon of December 27, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) launched a 120-day and night competition to complete the T3 passenger terminal project at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

According to ACV's report, as of December 27, the total volume of the Project has reached more than 83% and the expanded aircraft parking area has been put into operation.

Currently, the contractor is installing the electrical system, air conditioning and ventilation system, fire prevention and fighting system, etc. According to the plan of Vietnam Airports Corporation, the entire project will be completed on April 30, 2025 (2 months ahead of schedule).

The rough part of the station has been completed, now contractors are installing the interior and finishing the exterior decoration.

To shorten the progress, the investor and contractor have applied many synchronous solutions to overcome difficulties in narrow construction sites, rainy weather and especially construction under conditions where Tan Son Nhat Airport is still operating normally.

Most contractors have responded to the Government 's call, working overtime, creating solutions to protect against rain and sun, applying advanced construction technologies, not succumbing to weather difficulties, in keeping with the spirit of overcoming the sun and rain.

The 2-storey overpass system in front of the station has completed the rough construction and is installing railings.

The project to build passenger terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport includes 4 main items: passenger terminal, multi-storey car park combined with non-aviation services, overpass system in front of the terminal and aircraft parking. The project has a total investment of 10,990 billion VND.

Once completed, the terminal will serve domestic flights with a capacity of 20 million passengers/year, meeting 7,000 passengers/peak hour. At that time, it will solve the congestion at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
