On July 12, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) sent a document to the Hai Phong City Department of Health, Hai Duong City General Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital requesting an urgent inspection and clarification of the case of a woman who had a serious incident after undergoing a procedure at the Meliza High-Tech Aesthetic Training Center (on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City - Meliza Aesthetic Facility).
Specifically, on the morning of July 2, Ms. NTTh. (born in 1985, living on Do Quang Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City ) went to Meliza Beauty Salon to receive services such as massage, acupressure, and a procedure to remove fillers from her chest area that had been injected about 2 years ago.

After the procedure, Ms. Th. suddenly fainted and was taken to Hai Duong General Hospital by the owner and staff for emergency treatment. However, Ms. Th.'s health condition worsened so her family transferred her to Bach Mai Hospital. At Bach Mai Hospital, Ms. Th. was actively treated with ECMO (circulatory support and artificial respiration) but her health has not shown any signs of improvement.
In response to this incident, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment requested the Hai Phong Department of Health to coordinate with relevant agencies to conduct an on-site inspection, verify the entire incident and submit a report of the results before July 14. Along with that, Hai Duong General Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital were requested to summarize the process of receiving, examining and treating patients.
Currently, Le Thanh Nghi Ward Police have received a report from the victim's family and are coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident. Local authorities are also verifying the operations of Meliza Beauty Salon to handle the case in accordance with the law.
