To realize these goals, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union has continuously strived to spread the entrepreneurial spirit to all classes of women - from mountainous to urban areas, from ethnic minorities to women with disabilities during the implementation of Project 939.
Support activities are organized synchronously and systematically, focusing on practical contents such as training, legal advice, capital support, brand building, trade promotion and market connection.
As of March 2025, the province has supported 3,095 women to start businesses and start businesses , including nearly 1,700 women from poor households, nearly 60 women with disabilities and hundreds of ethnic minority women. Small business models and cooperatives owned by women are playing an important role in rural economic development.

Through the "Women's Entrepreneurship" competitions, the Association has received more than 2,400 startup ideas, selected 381 feasible ideas, of which 55 ideas were honored at the provincial and central levels . Many ideas have been realized into OCOP products, regional products such as "LIM freeze-dried vegetable powder", "Nano salt - Vietnamese health salt", "Design and production of items from recycled fabric scraps"...
In particular, the support for the establishment of 204 cooperatives and cooperatives managed by women has contributed to promoting the production of goods, the application of science and technology and linking product consumption. Activities connecting with businesses and credit institutions have helped 1,645 ideas access loans of more than VND 56 billion, promoting sustainable business models.

Along with that, more than 680,000 women members were educated to raise awareness about employment and entrepreneurship through communication, training, and seminars. Training of association officials, building model points, and promoting gender equality in entrepreneurship were also focused on, contributing to improving women's capacity and internal strength .
Despite challenges such as lack of investment capital, limited access to technology and markets, the outstanding results of Project 939 in Nghe An have demonstrated the effectiveness, spread and importance of accompanying women in starting a business. This is not only economic support, but also a journey to awaken aspirations, promote creativity and affirm the role of women in the new era.
