Today, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is intermittently sunny, with light showers in some places.

In the Southern region, the Northeast wind operates at level 2-3 with the lowest temperature ranging from 23-26 degrees Celsius and the highest from 30-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

In Ho Chi Minh City alone, the lowest temperature is forecast to be 24 degrees Celsius and the highest to reach 34 degrees Celsius.

In addition, the UV index (ultraviolet rays) across all districts reached high to very high levels (levels 6-10). In addition, data from the AirVisual application shows that the level of fine dust in Ho Chi Minh City often exceeds the health safety threshold.

Therefore, people need to proactively apply measures to protect their bodies from ultraviolet rays, wear hats, wear sun-protective clothing and limit direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours; wear glasses to protect eyes from fine dust and always use masks when going out to minimize the effects of fine dust on health and the respiratory system.

Also this morning, the low pressure area in the East Sea moved southward, traveling about 10 km per hour, and continued to weaken.

The sea area from Ba Ria-Vung Tau to Ca Mau (including Ho Chi Minh City sea area) has light winds; wave height 0.5-1.5 m. The sea area from Ca Mau to Kien Giang and Phu Quoc has light winds, normal sea; wave height 0.25-1.0 m. In both sea areas, the weather has scattered showers and thunderstorms.
