Forecast of bumper crop, coffee prices 'cool down'

Coffee prices have been steadily falling in recent months. Coffee prices are fluctuating between VND80,000 and VND88,500 per kilogram, much lower than the record price of over VND130,000 per kilogram at the beginning of the year, due to the impact of the export market. Several countries around the world are harvesting coffee for the 2025-2026 crop year. The expected increase in coffee output compared to before is also the reason for the price drop after a long period of continuously setting records for price increases.

In Dong Nai , coffee growers are in the process of taking care of their coffee before the harvest. This year’s crop is growing well and is expected to yield higher yields than last year’s harvest. With current prices, coffee farmers still expect this crop to yield good profits thanks to a good harvest and good prices.

With a total area of nearly 20.3 thousand hectares, coffee is still the main industrial crop of Dong Nai province.
