“Books for me, for you”, this is the theme of the program “Vietnam Reading Culture Festival 2023” organized by Binh Thuan Library in coordination with provincial and city libraries of the Southeast and South Central Region Library Association.
The activity will take place from December 6 to 8, 2023, at Binh Thuan Library. There are many contents taking place in the program such as sightseeing, discussion on scientific and effective reading methods and developing reading culture with guests; quiz on the topics of "Traffic safety for students", "Anti-school violence"; emotional quotient test; presentation on STEM program ineducation today; fun science activities. Introducing the work: "Tears and joy" - Memoirs about the heroic fighting years on the Eastern battlefield by author Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Trung, a son of Binh Thuan homeland. In addition, mobile library vehicles of the provinces participating in the program will be open to serve the schools attending.
Vietnam Reading Culture Day 2023 is an important cultural event for book lovers and the whole community, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity. At the same time, it honors the value of books, affirms the position, role and importance of books in social life. Honors readers and those who participate in collecting, composing, publishing, printing, distributing and preserving books; enhances the responsibility of all levels and sectors for building and developing a reading culture in Vietnam.
