At Minh Khai Secondary School (Hac Thanh Ward), every morning and afternoon after school, the school's youth shock team gathers around the school gate to guide and remind students not to gather in front of the school gate, while also directing traffic and preventing students from going in the wrong direction, causing traffic jams and accidents for passersby. In addition, the youth shock team also monitors students who violate traffic regulations to report to the school's Board of Directors for warning measures. This has helped reduce traffic congestion at the school gate, helping vehicles to pass through the school area smoothly.

In addition, during flag-raising and extracurricular activities, the youth shock team actively cooperates with the school's Board of Directors to propagate contents related to traffic regulations, such as: "Do not use the phone while driving", "Drive in the correct lane"; set a good example in maintaining order and traffic safety and reflect on bad habits of a group of young people who lack awareness when participating in traffic... From these activities, not only do we raise awareness of obeying traffic safety laws for students, but we also aim to build a traffic culture for students right from when they are still in school.

Talking about maintaining traffic culture among youth, Secretary of the Hac Thanh Ward Youth Union Tran Huyen Trang said: Responding to the Campaign "Youth with traffic culture", the Youth Union in the area has enthusiastically participated in volunteer activities in maintaining urban order and traffic safety. To continue to create a spread of traffic culture among the Youth Union, the Ward Youth Union is organizing many diverse and rich activities such as propagating and disseminating laws on traffic order and safety; having the Youth Union sign a commitment not to violate traffic laws; mobilizing young people to perform cultural behaviors when participating in traffic... through organizing forums, talks, seminars, and exchanges on traffic culture in the community and on the mass media. At the same time, coordinate with local schools to deploy the model of "Traffic Safety School Gate", establish a rapid response team on traffic and mobilize young people to carry out practical works and tasks in ensuring traffic safety. Thereby, not only promoting the spirit of volunteerism of young people but also contributing to reducing traffic accidents.

Captain Nguyen Trung Hieu, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Traffic Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, said: In recent years, the work of ensuring traffic order and safety in the province has made much progress, the number of traffic accidents has decreased significantly, but the situation of young people driving motorbikes at high speed, recklessly overtaking, weaving, not wearing helmets, and lining up in twos and threes on the road still occurs. To raise awareness of young people when participating in traffic, every year the Youth Union of the Traffic Police Department develops specific plans and programs of activities, close to reality and suitable to the conditions of each locality; actively propagates andeducates young people to comply with the Road Traffic Law, focusing on innovating the content and form of traffic safety propaganda on the Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, on Zalo, fanpages of units... to attract young people to participate.

Along with that, the Youth Union also actively coordinated to organize propaganda, dissemination and signing of commitments to comply with the law on traffic safety and order for 1,023 students, 79 teachers of schools; more than 500 officials of the People's Committees of wards and communes, heads of residential groups; more than 100 Youth Union members, officials doing Youth Union work... Thereby, contributing to preventing and reducing the number of traffic accidents in the area.

In recent years, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has focused on directing all levels of the provincial Youth Union to organize propaganda activities to a large number of young union members on traffic laws and traffic culture in a variety of flexible forms suitable for each locality and unit, attracting the participation of a large number of young union members. Along with that, organizing young union members to sign commitments to comply with traffic safety laws and traffic culture such as wearing helmets that meet quality standards when riding motorbikes or riding behind motorbikes or motorbikes; not driving vehicles after drinking alcohol; not participating in cheering for illegal racing; establishing mobile teams to propagate traffic safety through cultural and artistic programs to raise awareness among people and young people. Up to now, the whole province has effectively maintained 246 volunteer youth teams participating in propaganda, ensuring traffic order and safety; 131 models of "Self-managed school gates on traffic safety", 18 models of "Safe ferry terminals", 3 models of "Safe railways"...

The practical activities of the Youth Union have contributed to reducing traffic insecurity on the roads and spreading beautiful images of traffic culture to a large number of people, youth and children.
