The whole province organized 154 job fairs.

To connect supply and demand, contributing to solving employment for workers in the whole province, since the beginning of the year, Lao Cai Provincial Employment Service Center has organized 154 job fairs.

At the sessions and conferences on job transactions, professional staff have disseminated and consulted on labor policies, employment, vocational training, and working abroad under contracts to over 45,000 people; distributed nearly 40,000 leaflets, and published hundreds of news and articles on labor and employment.

At the same time, receive and notify recruitment needs of nearly 500 units and enterprises, including nearly 400 enterprises in the province with recruitment needs of nearly 5,000 workers.

In addition, the Center has also collected and updated labor recruitment information of over 500 enterprises in the province.

Thanks to that, over the past 7 months, the whole province has created jobs for nearly 25,000 workers, reaching nearly 80% of the yearly plan; of which, over 700 people went to work abroad, supplying labor to other provinces for over 8,000 people.

In the remaining months of the year, along with organizing regular job fairs, the Provincial Employment Service Center will increase specialized fairs for students, soldiers, and overseas workers... Job fairs will also be regularly organized in the communes.
