Amidst the chaos of books, Tue Anh - a student of class 8C at Le Quy Don Secondary School ( Lao Cai ward) finds relaxation with the piano.
Tue Anh shared with eyes sparkling with joy: “Music is like a close friend to me. Every time I sit in front of the piano, all the stress from studying seems to disappear. A new piece of music is like a small mountain to conquer, sometimes difficult but also full of excitement. Sometimes I feel like music understands what I want to say, helping me feel more comfortable and confident.”
For Tue Anh, piano is not only a hobby but also a spiritual support in life and study.

While Tue Anh finds peace with the piano, Nguyen Duc Minh, a student of class 6D at Le Quy Don Secondary School, boldly steps onto the stage with his talent and effort. After only one year of studying piano, Minh has surpassed more than 300 domestic and foreign contestants to win the Gold Medal at the 2025 Hong Kong International Music Festival in Vietnam.
Duc Minh recalled his journey to conquer music and confided: “At first, there were many difficult moves, I was discouraged, but my mother always encouraged me so I overcame them and felt very happy when I received the award. I will continue to work hard to pass the entrance exam to the Vietnam National Academy of Music.”
An hour of piano practice every day, alternating after school, has become a habit that helps Minh both hone his skills and nurture his dream. For him, the piano is a joy, a passion, and also a door that opens up a bright future.

Music not only brings achievements or joy to the youth, but also carries a humanitarian mission. Musician Vu Dinh Trong - Deputy Director of Lao Cai Province's Culture and Cinema Center affirmed: "A song or a piece of music can sow sympathy, love and humanity in the hearts of the audience. I hope that music will be increasingly paid more attention in schools and social life, to become a bridge between generations."
According to Mr. Trong, the value of music cannot be measured by numbers, but by the silent changes in human personality.

If the younger generation finds joy and direction in music, then for artists like musician Phung Chien, at nearly 80 years old and with more than half a century of dedication to music, it is a lifelong mission. He is not only a composer, but also a witness to history.
For him, music does not stop at notes, but becomes a “soft weapon”, a persistent flow that nourishes the strength of the community. His emotional works truly reflect the breath of life, recording the transformation of his homeland and country through music. In his old age, he is still passionate about his pen and musical score, as if to affirm that music is ageless.
According to musician Phung Chien, after the heroic years of resistance, the country entered peace but still faced many difficulties and challenges. It was music that continued to light up the spirit, encourage the will, encourage workers to rise up, create solidarity, urge people to strive for beauty... Music always plays a leading role, evoking emotions, fostering solidarity and national pride.
Music resounds from the small room where Tue Anh practices, from Duc Minh's hours of practice, or from the hearts of musicians who have devoted their lives to art. Wherever they are, music has a common value: nurturing the soul, instilling faith, and arousing the desire for development. From the "singing that drowns out the sound of bombs" of yesteryear to the piano melody in the classroom today, music has always been a bridge between generations, so that Vietnamese melodies will forever resonate.
