For 24 years now, since the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 72/2001/QD-TTg in 2001, taking June 28 every year as Vietnamese Family Day with the aim of honoring the good traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families, promoting the responsibility of the whole society in caring for building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family, on this day, provinces and cities across the country simultaneously organize many rich and diverse forms of propaganda to spread humanistic values in each home. “The influence of Vietnamese Family Day up to this point is very large and has become a traditional day, with special significance for each of us Vietnamese. Ministries, branches and localities have been very aware of the propaganda and organization of activities related to Vietnamese Family Day on June 28. Organizing it simultaneously is also a way to attract the attention of the people and the whole society”, affirmed Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Khuat Van Quy.
The community is like that, and each family also organizes meaningful activities such as spending time cooking together, going out, watching movies, traveling, giving each other gifts or simply having coffee and chatting to understand the feelings of each member...
That is the true success and joy of those working in family affairs, as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism once emphasized: “The biggest goal that family affairs aim for is to build happy families. The family is the cell of society, and only when the cell is good will the society be good. We all have families and the responsibility to build family happiness must originate from each member. Therefore, it is very necessary to effectively replicate good models and good deeds; encourage efforts and emulation to multiply the good, overcome the bad, and negative things that are emerging in ethics and lifestyle today, especially domestic violence”.
