Accordingly, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed specialized departments and units under the Department to urgently implement Official Dispatch No. 15/CD-PCTT,TKCN&PTDS dated August 22, 2025 of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense; Official Dispatch No. 12/CD-UBND dated August 23, 2025 of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on focusing on responding to storm No. 5 in 2025 to ensure the safety of lives and property managed by the unit, minimizing the damage that may be caused by the storm.
Heads of departments and units closely monitor forecast information and developments of storms, rains and floods; promptly review, update and immediately activate disaster response plans according to the "four on-site" motto, appropriate to the risk level, close to reality, ensuring synchronization, unity, flexibility, and avoiding being passive or surprised in any situation. Review and deploy safety measures for tourism activities (including tourists) to safe places before and during direct storm impacts.
Organize a 24/7 duty seriously, promptly inform and report to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Department Office) on the situation of storm response, damage occurring within the management area of the department, unit during and after the storm (if any).
