Admire the colorful road at Ong Dia Stone Beach

Young people jokingly call this "The coastal ice cream road"

This road is not very long, but it is breathtakingly beautiful, with one side being the blue sea that whispers all day and night, and the other side being a row of colorful ice cream shops, making anyone passing by turn their heads. When it gets dark, the whole road seems to light up with the sparkling lights from a series of ice cream, milk tea, and smoothie shops located close together. Each shop has its own style: some are decorated in a gentle Korean style, some are rustic coastal shops, and some play vibrant music to attract young people to gather and laugh.

Among them is Ms. Loan’s coconut ice cream, which is considered “delicious and refreshing to look at” with the main ingredient being fresh coconut – a famous specialty of Mui Ne coconut area, both soft and sweet, if you eat it while watching the sunset, there is nothing better. Besides coconut ice cream, there are many attractive street specialties such as: rice paper with shrimp paste, fruit with shrimp paste, grilled seafood, ... and a variety of tea stalls serving the need to enjoy by the sea.

We chatted with Ms. Hoa - who was making ice cream at Co Loan coconut ice cream shop along the coastal road of Ong Dia Stone Beach, she shared with a friendly smile: "Usually around 4-5 pm, there are many young people, locals and tourists, coming to sit, chat and watch the sea. Young people like to sit next to each other on the sidewalk, while tourists walk around the beach and take pictures and then eat a cup of cool coconut ice cream, which is enough to make a day complete". And Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh - a young tourist from Ho Chi Minh City said: "I love this corner of the rocky beach, it has a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise. Add a few sparkling ice cream shops behind and you really don't want to go home. Check-in and take virtual photos, from the breakwater to the fishing basket and bougainvillea bushes on the roadside, every corner here is a beautiful picture...".

Phan Thiet youth jokingly call this "Coastal Ice Cream Road", because no one comes here to visit without stopping to eat a cool ice cream, eating while watching the waves rolling on the shore, enjoying the cool breeze dispelling all the fatigue of a long day. Ong Dia Rock Beach is famous and scores points for its unique beauty: the rocky outcrops jutting out into the sea create strange shapes, creating an ideal setting for visitors to check-in. Many visitors like to come here at sunset or sunrise - when the light dyes the whole scene golden, creating a majestic and peaceful natural picture. This beach is not only a landscape but also a place to preserve the memories and beliefs of local residents. The original rock has the image of Ong Dia, although it has been eroded by the waves over time, the sentiment is still preserved through the shrine and the rebuilt statue...

Not as noisy as crowded tourist areas, this road has a simple, gentle beauty, where people can slow down, walk with relatives or simply sit in a corner looking at the sea, enough to feel peace.
