On the evening of September 2, in the jubilant atmosphere of the national festival, at Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, a special art program with the theme "Pride of My Fatherland" took place solemnly and emotionally.

The program was organized by the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities attended the special art program.

Attending the program were comrades: Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Khac Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Office; Dang Duc Hiep, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat; representatives of the People's Council, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; provincial leaders through the periods; representatives of departments, branches, unions, communes, wards, special zones, along with thousands of people and tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that exactly 80 years ago, on September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening an era of national independence associated with socialism.

That victory is a testament to the strength of solidarity, indomitable will and aspiration for freedom and independence of our nation. 80 years have passed, but the spirit of the August Revolution is still the torch that guides the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The art program took place in 3 parts, including: August Song, Country Full of Joy, Melody of Pride. All told a story through sound, light, lyrics, dance, recreating the glorious and proud 80-year journey of the nation.

The opening part of “August Song” is like an epic about an indomitable and resilient nation. The opening acts include “Slave Night”, “Party Flag”, “August Nineteen” and a precious clip recording the moment President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, faithfully recreating the heroic atmosphere of the revolutionary autumn of 1945.

The atmosphere of the art night continues to be pushed to a climax with a series of performances: Liberating the South, Marching to Saigon, The Country is Full of Joy, Volunteering…

A group of foreign tourists watched a special art program at Lam Vien Square on the evening of September 2.

With elaborate staging, harmonious coordination between music, choreography and modern Led lighting, the program skillfully took viewers through each historical period. Nearly 10,000 spectators followed the program, joining in the rhythm of each melody of “Proud of My Fatherland”. The brilliant fireworks display, along with the resounding atmosphere at Lam Vien Square, truly became a cultural space. The crystallization of 80 years of historical journey, complete happiness in the present and strong faith in the future.
