In the price range of about 700 million VND, car buyers in Vietnam currently have many options, spread across many segments such as sedans, hatchbacks or small SUVs. This is a price range that is considered to "touch the threshold" of many high-end B-class cars, and is also the starting point to approach some C-class cars or urban SUVs with relatively full equipment. Although not in the most popular price group, with this budget, consumers have enough options for practical use at home. First of all, we must mention the Mazda CX-5 Deluxe, currently at over 700 million, making this C-class SUV a prominent choice and the most formidable competitor in the list of car models chosen by Vietnamese consumers.
With an actual price of only 714 million VND after incentives, the Mazda CX-5 Deluxe version offers a rare opportunity to approach the C-segment, which is usually priced significantly higher. Although it is only the standard version, the CX-5 Deluxe still retains many notable features such as LED projector lights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, leather seats and electric driver's seat, features that not all models in the same price range have. The car has a solid technical foundation and outstanding overall dimensions: nearly 4.6 meters long, 1.845 meters wide and 1.68 meters high, far superior to its B-class SUV competitors. Under the hood is a 2.0L SkyActiv-G engine with a capacity of 154 horsepower, accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission - a configuration sufficient to meet daily use needs. Despite cutting some safety features in the i-Activsense package, the CX-5 still scores points thanks to its neutral design, stable driving feel and high level of completion. It is not difficult to understand why in just the first 4 months of the year, this model achieved sales of more than 4,400 vehicles, continuing to affirm its solid position in the high-end urban SUV group. Kia K3 1.6 Turbo version If you love the feeling of sporty driving and need a car that focuses on personal style, the Turbo GT version of the K3 is worth considering in the price range under 700 million VND. This is the most advanced version of this C-class sedan, targeting young customers, prioritizing driving experience and modern design. The interior is also a big plus with an electric driver's seat with memory, front seats with cooling and heating, a sunroof, a steering wheel with paddle shifters and automatic climate control - amenities that are usually only found on models in a higher price range.
The K3 Turbo GT has a 1.6L turbocharged engine with a capacity of up to 201 horsepower - a rare number in the popular sedan segment. Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the car offers flexible acceleration. However, the active safety system on this version is still at a basic level with only a rear camera, not integrated with advanced driver assistance features such as blind spot warning, automatic braking or panoramic camera... Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate At the other extreme in the urban SUV segment, Mitsubishi Xforce scores points thanks to its comprehensive approach: mature design, ground clearance of up to 222 mm, the highest in the segment, and a series of equipment aimed at convenience and safety in daily use. Despite its price approaching the C-class SUV group (705-710 million VND), this imported car model still attracts users thanks to its clear product philosophy - putting comfort and driver assistance technology first. The Xforce Ultimate version is equipped with many outstanding features rarely seen in its price range, such as dual-zone independent air conditioning, rear seats that recline up to 8 levels, heat-resistant leather seats, 12.3-inch screen, electric trunk, Yamaha sound system and advanced safety package: adaptive cruise control, collision warning, lane keeping assist or active cornering control.
Hyundai Creta N Line If users are looking for an urban SUV with a more personal appearance but still ensuring comfortable operation, Hyundai Creta N Line may be a suggestion worth considering. With a price of 715 million VND, this sporty variant is slightly different from the Premium version (705 million VND), mainly focusing on exterior tweaks to create a unique mark. The highlight comes from a series of unique identification details such as the newly designed front/rear bumpers, 18-inch sporty wheels, red borders typical of the N line, and sporty gearshift paddles and gear lever. Although there is no change in the engine, which is still a 1.5L naturally aspirated type with a capacity of 115 horsepower combined with a CVT gearbox, the Creta N Line still creates a different feeling compared to the rest thanks to its youthful design language. Not aiming for powerful performance, this model is suitable for customers who value aesthetics and personal personality. With sales of 2,269 vehicles in the first 4 months of 2025 - among the best-selling B-size SUVs on the market, Creta continues to affirm its stable appeal, especially among young users living in urban areas. From the perspective of experienced car buying and selling experts, each car model has its own strengths from brand, engine configuration, utility equipment to design philosophy aimed at different user groups. It is important that consumers clearly define the purpose of use, actual needs and personal priorities to choose the option that best suits their budget.
