“Practice every minute, practice every second”

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - In recent years, along with advising the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to lead and direct the preparation of facilities, training grounds, lesson plans, and lectures for training, the Staff Department, the Provincial Military Command has coordinated with agencies and units of the provincial armed forces to focus on promoting emulation movements in training and combat readiness. Thereby, creating motivation and enthusiasm to help officers and soldiers overcome difficulties and challenges, enthusiastically compete, train, complete and exceed set goals and tasks, contributing to improving the quality of training and combat readiness at grassroots agencies and units.

The Provincial Military Command inspected the "3 explosions" practice at the end of the training course for new soldiers of Battalion 40, Regiment 762.

Responding to the emulation movement to win and promptly encouraging, motivating, and building the will and determination of cadres and soldiers in training and combat readiness, in recent times, the agencies and grassroots units under the Provincial Military Command have focused on leading, directing the construction and organization of emulation movements, creating a strong spread, bringing practical results, typically the action slogans: "Overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain, practicing enthusiastically"; "Good training, strict discipline, high combat readiness"; "Pushing the strong to eliminate the weak"; "Training every minute, forging every second"... Therefore, the quality of training and combat readiness in grassroots units has been gradually improved, notably the agencies and units have organized to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions and directives of Party committees at all levels on military and defense tasks; strictly maintaining the combat readiness regime, not being passive or surprised. Closely coordinate with forces to grasp the situation of the area, especially the border, sea and key areas, participate in effectively handling situations according to functions and tasks; air defense duty regime and artillery marker system management are strictly maintained; communication is smooth; firmly ensure the cryptographic technical system and military information security, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province.

In training practice, agencies and grassroots units always adhere to the motto "Basic, practical, solid", attach importance to synchronous and specialized training; in which, cadre training is the key, tactical training is the focus, technical training is the foundation. At the same time, focus on innovating training content, form, and methods suitable for each subject and new curriculum. Training from low to high, from segment to synthesis; closely combining specialized training with training according to target protection plans and combat situations.

Regarding the training content of new soldiers, Regiment 762 always closely directs the organization of training with correct and sufficient content and time according to regulations; combines training of basic movements on commands, techniques, tactics with physical training and discipline training. After each training season for new soldiers, 100% of soldiers have strong political will, know how to perform individual combat movements correctly, have good physical strength, and strictly follow discipline; training of the standing force completes 100% of the content and program according to regulations, with over 96% of the participating troops; 100% of the test results meet the requirements, over 75% are good and excellent; training new soldiers according to the program and plan, completing the tasks well.

The emulation movement to promote initiatives, improve techniques, research and create models and training tools to serve training and combat readiness has encouraged and aroused all potentials and creativity of officers and soldiers in researching initiatives, improving training models and tools. Over the past 5 years, there have been more than 550 initiatives, improvements in training models and tools and effective working solutions, which have been highly appreciated by Military Region 4 and the Ministry of National Defense , contributing significantly to improving the quality of training and combat readiness of the subjects.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Van Thuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, said: "To continue to improve the quality of training and combat readiness at grassroots units, before entering training, the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and grassroots units in the provincial armed forces have focused on thoroughly informing officers and soldiers about the meaning, content, and targets of each movement and emulation period. Based on the specific task situation, agencies and grassroots units must regularly organize emulation movements and peak emulation periods. In particular, before entering training, grassroots units must attach importance to launching the movement "Promoting initiatives and technical improvements" to improve the quality of materials, models, and teaching aids serving the training and combat readiness tasks. Praising, honoring, and rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in training and combat readiness must be closely linked to building and replicating advanced models in all aspects of work, creating environment and favorable conditions for advanced models to constantly strive, spreading the "flowers" in the "emulation flower garden" in agencies and grassroots units".
