MobiFone ensures smooth operation of public service system

In the early days of implementing the two-level local government model and putting administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal, many localities recorded stable system operation without significant errors.

People feel the difference

On the morning of July 2, at the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center - Branch No. 3 (Dong Da District), the working atmosphere was urgent but orderly.

Among the people who came to do the procedures, Mr. Le Dao Trung (80 years old, residing in Giang Vo ward) and his wife came to change the address information on the red book according to the new administrative boundary.

Despite his old age and unfamiliarity with using technological devices, Mr. Trung was quickly guided directly by the staff, and the procedure went smoothly without having to wait long.

"Everything went very smoothly. The staff supported us attentively from start to finish, even helping my husband and I go to the notary office because we did not have enough documents. I am really satisfied with the new way of working," he shared.

Many other people also shared the same feeling when receiving and processing documents was carried out quickly, the process was clear and transparent. Initial concerns about delays, interruptions or difficulties in accessing the new system were quickly eliminated.

According to Ms. Le Thuy Trang - an officer at the Public Administration Service Center, in the early days of implementing the two-level government model, the number of land-related documents increased sharply.

However, thanks to prior training, along with the presence of MobiFone's technical support team right at the reception point, all processes operate smoothly.

"Processing time is significantly reduced. The digital system replaces paper documents, helping to save time, increase work efficiency, and at the same time, people are also served more conveniently," said Ms. Trang.

Proactive technical support

At the Tay Ho ward public administration point, the number of people coming to register procedures such as birth registration, marriage, document certification, etc. has also increased.

Notably, many cases are of elderly people submitting applications on behalf of their children and grandchildren, having difficulty with online operations and needing direct support.

Ms. Dang Quynh Mai - MobiFone officer in charge of technical support at this point - said: "Most people have completed the declaration and registration steps via the iHanoi application from home, thanks to which the processing time at the counter has been significantly shortened. However, for cases of the elderly or those unfamiliar with technology, we always arrange staff ready to support on-site."

In the first three days of implementation, Tay Ho ward alone recorded more than 200 people coming directly to do procedures.

Faced with a large volume of transactions, MobiFone has set up rapid response teams, including software engineers and technical experts, working online to promptly handle any arising incidents, ensuring no interruption in service to the people.

Prepare early

Before the official implementation of the two-level government model (from July 1), the network operator proactively coordinated with many localities such as Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan , etc. to survey infrastructure, deploy equipment and organize professional training courses for officials at commune and ward levels.

Online and in-person training programs are organized synchronously, helping staff quickly adapt and master the new system.

Putting all administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal is not only a technical step forward, but also a change in service thinking.
