According to the investigation records, in January 2025, Le Quang Tuyen and Le Van Hung (born in 1986, residing in An Cuu ward) cooperated to sell flowers during Tet in front of the Nam Giao Altar area.

At noon on January 19, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Chung (born in 1992, residing in Thuan Hoa ward) came to ask Hung and Tuyen to transport flowers when there was a buyer but was refused. The two sides argued and challenged each other.

Then, Chung took a machete and a group of 4 people to chase and slash Hung. Seeing that, Le Quang Tuyen took a sword and chased and attacked Chung's group. As a result, Nguyen Van Chung was injured in the arm, back, flexor tendons, severed radial artery and nerve, paralyzed radial with a disability assessment rate of 33%, while Le Van Hung was 1%.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency is consolidating the case file to strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
