A Xan's mark
At the end of the 2019 - 2024 term, the people of A Xan commune (Tay Giang) contributed about 4 billion VND to the Commune Front to carry out the task of building new rural areas, along with more than 40,000 working days, 13,216 hectares of donated land and nearly 458 square meters of land for rural roads... In the highlands, this number is considered a mark to help change the appearance, gradually improving the quality of life of people in the border area.
Mr. Poloong Anhiet - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of A Xan commune said that the above outstanding figures are thanks to the spirit of solidarity and unity among local people, through movements and activities widely deployed, from helping the poor, joining hands to preserve traditional culture, to implementing the construction of livelihood models, new rural areas...
"Especially the propaganda work, mobilizing people to actively participate in donating land, contributing labor and money to build rural infrastructure, voluntarily improving resettlement sites and fields to improve production efficiency" - Mr. Poloong Anhiet shared.

Notably, the story of donating land to help households in A Rang village rebuild their houses after the fire that occurred in early 2023 still leaves many good impressions.
Mr. Polong Anhiet said that over the years, the spirit of solidarity has always been promoted, helping the locality promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles in life.
Promoting the good tradition, besides sharing with the needy, through the connection of the Front, organizations and local authorities, the Co Tu people in A Xan commune did not hesitate to contribute labor days to rebuild new houses in the common joy of the community.
Mr. To Ngol Thieu - Chairman of the People's Committee of A Xan commune said that, from the role of uniting the people, in recent times, the locality has effectively implemented the movement "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security", maintaining 6 self-management groups for border lines, landmarks and self-management groups for security and order in border villages and hamlets.
“We mobilized more than 240 million VND from the fund for the poor, supported the renovation of 44 solidarity houses worth 1.4 billion VND and connected with sister units and philanthropists to support the construction of 5 houses for people affected by fire with a budget of more than 1.4 billion VND. In addition, we supported seedlings and livestock for 534 households, helping people have more conditions to expand their livelihoods and improve their lives,” said Mr. Thieu.
"Fueling" the new term
Mr. Briu Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Giang district said that the imprint from the grassroots front work in the past time has created a strong spread in the local community, thereby "fueling" for the next term to be more successful.

This is considered a dual goal, determined right from the beginning of the District Front Congress for the 2019-2024 term, with the resolution targets "could not be more specific".
According to Mr. Briu Quan, up to now, Tay Giang has completed the organization of the grassroots front model congress for 2/10 communes. Through evaluation and experience, localities have basically completed the organizational steps, especially in personnel work; the resolution targets are creative, suitable for the practical life of the people in the mountainous areas.
“To best prepare for the district-level front congress, in the past time, we have focused on implementing well the work of the commune-level congress, considering it an opportunity to evaluate and learn from experience. Especially the work of proactively implementing the contents of the congress documents, at the same time seriously evaluating and reviewing the work of the front for the 2019-2024 term,” said Mr. Briu Quan.
Going through the final stages of the term, the assessments of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district are not outside the figures about the spirit of contribution, the consensus of the community and the goal of creating momentum for the socio -economic development of the people in the mountainous areas.
Related indicators will continue to be compared and assessed for completion to find solutions together, helping localities achieve positive results.
However, with the special conditions of the mountainous region, there will certainly be many difficulties and challenges, requiring new and appropriate decisions in the management and direction of the Tay Giang Front in the coming time...
