On the afternoon of July 17, a working delegation led by comrade Tran Duc Hai, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Huong Son commune, visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Minh Phan, an 81% disabled veteran, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dao, a relative of two martyrs, both residing in Trung Hoa village, and Mr. Doan Van Dat, an 83% disabled veteran, residing in Hoi Xa village.
At the places he visited, Party Secretary Tran Duc Hai expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the war invalids, martyrs and families of those who rendered meritorious services to the revolution. He wished that the families of those who rendered meritorious services would always live happily and healthily, continue to promote the revolutionary spirit, contribute their intelligence and experience to the development of the locality; at the same time, pay attentionto the education of their children and grandchildren, become shining examples for the younger generation to follow, contributing to building the capital Hanoi and the country more and more civilized and prosperous.
Along with visiting and giving gifts, on this occasion, Huong Son commune also organized practical activities such as lighting candles in gratitude, repairing martyrs' cemeteries, launching the "Repaying gratitude" movement, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", a fine tradition of the nation.
