Quang Ninh Province Veterans Singing Festival 2024: Singing the military march forever

On December 7, the Quang Ninh Provincial Veterans Association organized the 2024 Quang Ninh Provincial Veterans Singing Festival with the theme "Singing the Marching Song Forever". This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Association's Traditional Day (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2024), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

The 2024 Quang Ninh Veterans Singing Festival has the participation of 13 teams representing the Veterans Association of cities, districts and towns across the province with more than 300 actors bringing 51 best performances selected from competitions from grassroots to district levels.

The performances were invested in and elaborately staged with a variety of genres, from singing, dancing, skits to musical instrument performances. The content focused on recreating the heroic years of resistance, national pride and love for the homeland, praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho... Many performances also reflected the creativity, promoting the intelligence, efforts and resources of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province, creating rapid, breakthrough and solid development of Quang Ninh in recent years.

The 2024 Quang Ninh Veterans Singing Festival is not only an opportunity for cadres and veteran members in the province to demonstrate their artistic talents, but also a place to review the heroic memories of generations of veterans, deepening their love for their homeland and country, and their indomitable spirit in fighting and defending the Fatherland.

At the same time, it is an opportunity for Quang Ninh veterans to express their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses during the war years and to honor the resounding achievements of our army and people, of generations of veterans in general and Quang Ninh veterans in particular through the ages.

At the end of the Festival, there were 8 performances that won A prizes, 8 performances that won B prizes and 8 performances that won C prizes.
