The program “Learning to be a Police Officer” was implemented for 7 days (from June 8 to 14), with 100 children from 9 to 16 years old across the province participating. This is a life skillseducation model combined with practical experience, helping children practice discipline, develop physical fitness and enhance their sense of responsibility.
During the training period, the “young soldiers” experience the living and learning environment following the discipline and style of the people’s police force, from lining up, saluting the flag, folding blankets, to participating in physical training, self-defense skills, first aid, and escape. With the motto “Learn while playing, play while learning”, the program designs a variety of activities for the children to both study and entertain themselves such as: physical games, group activities, performing arts, etc.
After 1 week of training in a disciplined and serious environment, the children know how to take care of themselves, practice health, discipline, and team spirit, helping them to become more mature and have a meaningful and rewarding summer vacation.
