On the evening of June 14, in the beautiful and cool weather, the poetic and sparkling Han River was lit up again with the third competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025, with the theme "Connecting Journey."

Two teams from two continents and two cultures, Canada and China, connected tens of thousands of audiences with the language of light and music .

Opening the competition night was the Orion Fireworks team from Canada with a performance called “Stardust-Magic Starlight.”

A symphony of light takes the audience on a journey to explore the universe with fireworks bursting like sparkling meteors in the sky of Da Nang.

Sometimes as gentle as a shooting star, sometimes as explosive as a cosmic explosion, the performance immerses the audience in a magical sky.

Each wave of fireworks smoothly danced to the tune of timeless songs like “Power of Love” and “Never give up on your dreams,” making the performance touch the audience's emotions.

Patrick Chadonnet, representative of the Canadian fireworks team, shared that the Stardust performance conveys a message about the dreams of humanity. The team wants to convey that meaning to the audience, hoping that through the performance, all people's dreams will come true.

Canada's rival, the Jiangxi Yanfeng fireworks team from China, chose a more oriental approach to storytelling through their performance of "Journey to the West."

The entire performance was led by a single song, “The Road We Take,” the immortal soundtrack from Journey to the West.

When the music started, many audiences happily sang along to the familiar melody of this famous movie.

China's fireworks team captain Liang Weiming said that using one piece of music throughout the entire performance was the team's intention, to tell a seamless story, helping the audience have a complete emotional journey.

In addition, choosing just one piece of music also helps to shape the team's unique style, creating consistency and helping the message to be conveyed more clearly through each moment.

In addition, the Chinese team's performance showed class with fireworks effects researched and produced by the team's own workshop, in which the highlight was the multi-layered color-changing fireworks, flexible and vivid like mythical movies.

Not only were the spectators entertained with fireworks displays, they were also immersed in a vibrant musical space with the participation of singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh and hundreds of domestic and international artists.

Amidst the bustling fireworks and resounding music, the outdoor virtual reality technology Sky AR also made its own impression. Since the opening night, this interactive experience has continuously created a positive effect on visitors, especially young people./.
