Provincial People's Council leaders attend political activities at Gia Hue residential area (Dai Loc)

(QNO) - On the morning of March 22, in Dai Minh commune, Gia Hue residential area organized political activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dai Loc district liberation day (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025); 50th anniversary of Quang Nam province liberation day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and 95th anniversary of the founding of Quang Nam provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).

Attending the meeting were comrade Tran Xuan Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, comrade Thai Binh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, leaders of Dai Loc district and many local officials, party members and people.

At the meeting, delegates and residents of Gia Hue residential area reviewed important historical milestones, the 50-year journey after liberation, and achievements in the process of building and developing Dai Loc district in particular and Quang Nam province in general. At the same time, dialogues and discussions were held on the role of ownership and self-management of the people in building residential landscapes, contributing to building self-governing, united, civilized and sustainably developed residential areas.

Gia Hue village, Dai Minh commune has an area of about 150 hectares, with 539 households and 2,226 people, including 84 policy families and meritorious people. People live mainly on agriculture , currently the village has 3 poor households and 16 near-poor households. Gia Hue village is striving to meet the standards of a model new rural residential area by the end of 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Xuan Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Front Working Committee and the people of Gia Hue residential area. He hoped that people would continue to strive to eliminate poverty, improve the quality of life, and pay special attention to policy families and meritorious people in the area. At the same time, he requested the local Party Committee, government and people to agree and support the major policies of the Party and State, especially the policy of dissolving district-level administrative units and merging commune-level and provincial-level administrative units in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province and Dai Loc district presented many gifts to support people in difficult circumstances in Gia Hue residential area, Dai Minh commune.
