Colorful festival in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa

In its first time being held, the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival has initially achieved the expected results, while creating a positive effect on the people and tourists. Up to this point, the festival has gone through more than half of its journey with many events and activities organized on a large scale and quality. - The 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival can be said to have basically completed the organization goals and achieved the results according to the initial requirements. Through the festival, we have introduced the unique cultural features of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to the people and tourists at home and abroad. During the festival, the province has also organized sports tournaments with the characteristics of the coastal region such as: Nha Trang International Beach Volleyball Tournament - Sanest Salanganes Nest Cup, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa for the first time in 2025; Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang Amateur Open Championship 2025; National Beach Soccer Championship 2025... These are sports tournaments with the unique brand of Khanh Hoa province and we hope to be held regularly every summer. The 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival has also brought about connections between the community and residents of Khanh Hoa province with activities in which people enthusiastically participated. The business community also joined hands with the province in organizing and implementing entertainment activities. Through the festival, we have connected with the international community when many delegations of foreign guests came to attend the festival. Some foreign localities that have established sister cities with Khanh Hoa province such as Ulsan City (Korea), Lorient City (France) have sent art troupes to perform. In particular, during this festival, we have organized activities to protect the environment, especially the environment of Nha Trang Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world. This contributes to the implementation of the province's planned goals of preserving and promoting the value of Nha Trang Bay.

- A new feature in the organization of the 3 key events of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival is that people and tourists have been arranged to participate in the events conveniently in the spirit of "people's festival". Can you share more about this?

- In the 3 highlight events of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival including: Opening ceremony and "Nha Trang say Hi" music festival; international cultural and artistic exchange program; Carnival parade program, we can see that on one hand, it introduces Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, but on the other hand, it also focuses on meeting the entertainment needs of people and tourists. To do that, we boldly combined both of the above contents and achieved success when receiving good reviews from festival participants. We had a neat, meaningful opening night and the excitement of the "Nha Trang say Hi" music festival with a beautiful high-altitude fireworks display. The international cultural and artistic exchange program also sent the audience traditional artistic colors, along with modern musical melodies. The Carnival night brought a street festival atmosphere with the participation of connecting districts, towns and cities in the province; connecting Khanh Hoa province with Ninh Thuan province; the active participation of businesses. Including the parade of contestants from the Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 contest. We highly appreciate the preparation work of the festival organizing committee when there was a reasonable arrangement and layout of the stage area, stands and areas for people and tourists to participate in the shows. This time, people and tourists got closer and had a very good interaction with the singers and artists performing on stage.

- So, can you tell us about the effects of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival on stimulating demand and attracting tourists?

- Every time the province organizes festivals in general, the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival in particular, the main purpose is to contribute to promoting the potential and strengths of tourism economy through a series of rich and unique activities and events to attract tourists to Khanh Hoa. With the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival, we have once again promoted the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism brand to the whole country and internationally. According to estimates, the total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa province for sightseeing and relaxation in 4 days from June 7 to June 10 reached about 667,000. Of which, guests served by accommodation establishments reached about 290,000; the occupancy rate of accommodation rooms in Khanh Hoa province increased (reaching over 85%), concentrated in tourist accommodation establishments of 3 stars or higher and equivalent. Hotels in the city center. Nha Trang and 4-star and 5-star resorts in coastal areas have a capacity of over 90%, some facilities reach 100% capacity during the festival. It can be seen that with the recent Cultural - Sea Tourism Festival, the province has attracted a large number of visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in early summer. We hope that in June, the total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa will reach nearly 1.5 million, of which the number of international visitors will be nearly 500,000.

- The 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival still has many activities and events ahead. Could you tell us what instructions the festival organizers have given to ensure that these activities are successful as planned?

- The 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival with nearly 40 activities, cultural and artistic events, sports competitions, cuisine, environmental protection, community connection. Up to now, we have carried out more than half of the events and activities in the plan. In the coming time, the festival will continue with many activities and events taking place until the end of June, such as: Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 sports and terrain racing organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper; Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025; the first Khanh Hoa open basket boat racing and shaking competition in 2025; the 11th International Yoga Day in Khanh Hoa in 2025; the second SeaStar Nha Trang Bay swimming competition in 2025; National Beach Sepak Takraw Championship 2025... In order for the above events and activities to take place in accordance with regulations, achieve the effectiveness and results as originally planned, the Provincial People's Committee and the festival organizing committee have directed agencies, departments, branches and enterprises directly implementing the events and activities to pay attention to and focus on organizing events and activities in a methodical, professional and quality manner. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen communication work to attract tourists to participate in cheering for the activities.
