The first session of the People's Council of Quang Tri province (new), term VIII: Perfecting the local government apparatus after the merger

This morning, July 1, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held the first session of the new Quang Tri Provincial People's Council, term VIII, 2021-2026. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, National Assembly Delegation of the province; People's Council delegates and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors attended the meeting.

Before the opening of the session, delegates offered flowers and incense at the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh and the Heroic Martyrs, expressing their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of Uncle Ho and the Heroic Martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the glorious revolutionary cause of the nation.

This is the first session of the Provincial People's Council after the merger of Quang Tri province, with many important contents, focusing on the work of perfecting the local government apparatus. The session will announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees; establish Committees and Offices of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council.

At the same time, the session also considered and approved the Project to establish specialized agencies and other administrative organizations under the Provincial People's Committee; announced the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council approving the Deputy Heads and Members of the Committees of the Provincial People's Council and appointing members of the Provincial People's Committee.
