'Song of the Journalist', 'On the Burning Ink Road', 'Uncle Ho's Advice' won first prize for compositions about journalism

These are three works about journalism in the genres of songs, poems, and plays that were awarded first prize in the Literary and Artistic Creation Campaign with the theme 'Journalism - Journalists in the Capital and the whole country 2025'.

Hanoi People Magazine summarized and awarded the Literary and Artistic Creation Campaign with the theme "Journalism - Journalists in the Capital and the whole country 2025" on the evening of June 16 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the award ceremony, journalist Vuong Minh Hue - editor-in-chief of Nguoi Ha Noi magazine, head of the campaign's organizing committee - commented that the entries vividly reflected the image of journalists through many perspectives, from the arduous journey of work, trips to remote areas, efforts to report truthfully... to thoughts, professional struggles, journalistic ethics and loyalty to the truth.

This is the first time a literary and artistic creation campaign about journalism has been organized on a national scale. The works all have in common a love for journalism and respect for journalists.

Hundreds of works from authors from all over the country were submitted to the contest.

As a result, in the poetry category, the work On the burning ink road by Pham Thi My Lien - pen name Lien Pham ( Quang Nam ) was awarded first prize. The two second prizes went to The keeper of the fire of language by Truong Viet My - pen name My My ( Ca Mau ) and Dad must go away by Le Thi Nguyet ( Nghe An ).

In the drama category, the script Uncle Ho's Advice by director, Meritorious Artist Trinh Quang Khanh (Hanoi) won first prize.

Second prize went to Cactus by Phung Khanh (Hanoi) and Living with passion by Ngo Minh Nguyet (Hanoi).

In the song category, first prize was awarded to the song " Journalist's Song" , poem by Nguyen Dang Quang, music by Duy Anh (Quang Tri).

The two second prizes went to the songs "Lighting up the Faith of Life" - poem by Le Canh Nhac, music by Tran Van Tien (Hanoi) and "Steadfastly Going to the Future" - lyrics by Luong Dinh Khoa, music by Nguyen Anh Tri - pen name Kien Ha (Hanoi).

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 9 third prizes and 12 consolation prizes for outstanding poems, plays and songs.
