This morning, at the walking street of Hoan Kiem Lake, the Hanoi People's Committee organized the program "Culture Festival for Peace" within the framework of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and the 25th anniversary of Hanoi being awarded the title "City for Peace" by UNESCO (Photo: Thanh Dong).
Attending the program were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, along with leaders of central and Hanoi departments and agencies, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic agencies and a large number of people in the capital.

The festival is the largest gathering of artisans, artists and people representing 30 districts, towns and cities of the capital. More than 8,000 people, including 5,000 people and representatives of forces from districts, towns and cities, participated in parades and performances of folk art and culture, including intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO and the nation, along with the unique traditional cultural beauty of the capital (Photo: Thanh Dong).
