Do not let criminals escape from the stage of receiving and processing reports.

The Provincial People's Procuracy said that in May, it had received 256 denunciations and reports of crimes and recommendations for prosecution, including: 169 old reports, 12 reports of re-investigation and 75 new reports (a decrease of 14 reports compared to the previous month). At the same time, it had processed and resolved 88 denunciations and reports. Currently, 168 reports are still under processing and continue to be verified by competent authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The work of exercising the right to prosecute and supervise the reception and handling of denunciations, reports of crimes, and recommendations for prosecution in the province continues to be carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations.

In the inspection work, the People's Procuracy at two levels issued 81 requests to inspect and verify denunciations and reports; extended the deadline for handling 17 reports; and directly supervised the reception and handling of crime information sources at the investigation agency in two rounds.

Proactively issuing requests for verification, extension and direct supervision have contributed to improving the efficiency of information processing, ensuring that no criminals are left behind and no innocent people are wrongly convicted.
