Mrs. Le Thi Soan’s husband was a martyr who died in the war against the US to save the country. She lives with her daughter, but her family’s economic situation is difficult, so for many years they have lived in a dilapidated house.
Responding to the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister , the Party Committee and government of Tien Thang commune have stepped up propaganda, advocacy, and mobilized resources to help policy families and people in difficult circumstances build and repair houses.
Ms. Le Thi Soan's new house was built on an area of over 70 square meters with a total cost of over 400 million VND. In which, along with the provincial and district budget according to the policy of supporting the construction and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses of 100 million VND, Ms. Soan received the attention and support of many people: Army Officer School 2 donated 80 million VND; Gia Vien District Military Command donated 10 million VND; Tien Thang Commune donated 5 million VND and over 200 million VND from relatives, neighbors...
On the house inauguration day, Ms. Le Thi Soan received many practical and meaningful gifts to prepare for her new home.
This is a project to commemorate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), expressing the deep affection and gratitude of the Party Committee, government, departments, branches, organizations and the whole society for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, joining hands to take care of the lives of families of people with meritorious services, promoting the tradition of "Mutual love and support" of the nation.
