Khanh Hoa welcomes more than 900,000 visitors on September 2nd holiday

During the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2 this year, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 900,000 visitors and vacationers.

On September 2, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that during the 4-day National Day holiday of September 2 this year, Khanh Hoa province welcomed more than 907,000 visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period last year.

The average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments in the province reached 79.36%, mainly concentrated on the 3 days of August 30, 31 and September 1.

Bai Dai and Doc Let areas, closed resorts on the islands, hotels and resorts in the coastal areas of Binh Son - Ninh Chu, Vinh Hy and Ca Na have reached a capacity of 80% or more.

The central areas of Nha Trang and Phan Rang have an average occupancy rate of 60% or more, some hotels along Tran Phu beach have an occupancy rate of over 70%, and some resorts are fully booked during the holiday season.

Total revenue from tourism activities during this year's holiday is estimated at about 963 billion VND.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, the number of visitors to Khanh Hoa this year is not crowded because tourists mainly flock to Hanoi and the northern provinces on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen - Vice President of the Travel Association (Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association), the number of visitors to Nha Trang during the September 2nd holiday this year is not large because the visitors are mainly local visitors and visitors from neighboring provinces with short tours, and can travel back and forth in a day.

In addition, it is not the peak tourist season even though people have 4 days off; many families and companies have traveled during the summer months and the National Day holiday is close to the school start date for students at all levels.

Many international flights to Khanh Hoa on September 2nd

According to information provided by Cam Ranh International Airport, there were 566 flights taking off and landing on the occasion of September 2, an increase of about 30% compared to the same period in 2024 and an increase of 6% compared to the current flight week.

Of which, there are about 316 international flights and about 250 domestic flights. The total number of passengers that Cam Ranh International Airport received during this time is about 106,432 passengers.
