Opening of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025 for union members and workers in Bac Giang

On the evening of January 10, at Than Nhan Trung Square, Bich Dong Ward, Viet Yen Town, the Labor Federation of Bac Giang Province organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" associated with the program "Union Tet Market 2025".

Attending the program were representatives of the Finance Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, Labor Federations of districts, towns, cities, industry unions and the participation of more than 1,000 workers and laborers (CNLĐ) working in enterprises in the province's industrial parks and people in Bich Dong ward, Viet Yen town.

Speaking at the opening of the Program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Le Duc Tho said that taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers is a key activity of the Trade Union organization, especially during the traditional New Year of the nation. In recent years, the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of trade unions in the province have regularly organized the Tet Sum Vay Program for union members and laborers. Thereby, creating motivation for union members and laborers to work productively, with quality, effectively, and closely with enterprises, supporting enterprises to develop more and more sustainably; strengthening the trust and connection between union members and laborers and the Trade Union organization. He hoped that in the coming time, the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers and the activities of the Provincial Trade Union would continue to receive the attention, support and facilitation of leaders, collectives, individuals and units and enterprises.

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" associated with the program "Tet Union Market" in 2025 for workers has nearly 60 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households participating with 100 booths. The booths sell essential goods and services at preferential prices, ensuring the quality of enterprises and cooperatives inside and outside the province; booths of partners signed cooperation agreements with the Provincial Federation of Labor on the Welfare Program for union members and workers.

Leaders give gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.

To prepare for the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, the Year of the Snake 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 10,000 Tet gifts to workers, each gift worth from 500 - 800 thousand VND, with a total cost of 5.27 billion VND.

At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 200 Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, those who had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, those affected by job loss, income loss, and 100 bus tickets for workers to return home for Tet. At the same time, funding was awarded to support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses for 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with support levels ranging from 25 to 50 million VND per person, with a total amount of 370 million VND. To accompany and share with workers who received funding support for building union shelter houses, Coop mart Bac Giang Supermarket awarded 10 Tet gifts, each worth 400,000 VND.

Also at the program, many cultural, artistic and sports activities took place such as: Banh chung wrapping contest and Tet fruit tray display; folk dance competition; organizing folk games (tug of war, sack jumping, blindfolded goat catching...); lucky draw; "Singing for workers - Listening to workers sing" program; organizing legal and health consulting activities for workers.

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" associated with the program "Tet Union Market 2025" takes place for 3 days (January 10 - January 12) at Than Nhan Trung Square, Viet Yen town.
