As the first high school graduation exam to be held under the 2018 and 2006 general education programs, Kon Tum province has made careful and thorough preparations to organize the exam well. The whole province established 14 exam sites, of which 1 exam site at Le Loi High School was for candidates taking the 2006 general education program and 13 exam sites were for candidates taking the 2018 general education program. The examination council arranged more than 1,200 people to work on the exam. Ms. Pham Thi Trung, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Kon Tum province, said that before the exam, the Department of Education and Training organized many training sessions so that the exam staff could clearly understand the new regulations in this year's exam: " Under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training , the attention and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the implementation direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the attention of departments and branches, the 2025 high school graduation exam in Kon Tum province took place successfully and safely, in accordance with regulations. Up to this point, no candidates or supervisors have violated the exam regulations. That is the effort and cooperation of all levels and branches, the initiative of students in the learning process and the care of their families and the whole society . "

Ms. Pham Thi Trung added that it was the participation of the entire political system and the efforts of the entire community that made this year's High School Graduation Exam a success. Typically, 10 districts and cities in the province mobilized more than 630 million VND to support more than 1,800 candidates in difficult circumstances and ethnic minority candidates to participate in the Exam with a support cost of 340 thousand VND per student. The teaching staff at schools contributed more than 700 free teaching hours to support students in reviewing, ensuring that they were fully equipped with knowledge for the exam. Ms. Pham Thi Trung emphasized: “ For each exam, the Department of Education and Training consults the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training to comprehensively evaluate issues related to the exam, especially the quality of the exam. That reflects the quality of teaching in practice and from the evaluation of the results in each subject, we will return to adjust the content and teaching methods. For any content that is beyond the authority of the Department of Education and Training, we will continue to recommend the committee and the Ministry of Education and Training to continue to strengthen innovation to increasingly improve the quality of education, better responding to the need to improve the quality and capacity of learners in practice.”

One of the highlights of this year's High School Graduation Exam is the innovation in the organization of the exam, from the way of making questions, the type of questions aimed at assessing the capacity and qualities of learners to reducing the number of subjects, exam time, exam invigilation and grading processes are all adjusted to ensure compliance with the exam organization plan. After 2 days of the exam, candidates and parents highly appreciated these changes, especially welcoming the spirit of innovation in making practical exam questions, with high classification and especially assessing the thinking and problem-solving ability of candidates through their work. Bui Gia Bao, a student at Lien Viet Kon Tum Secondary and High School, said: " This change is also part of the country's transformation. We are students, so we should also absorb and adapt to it better. I think this is also a good thing because it helps students increase their thinking and become more scientific."

On the final exam day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, in the morning, the whole province had 44 absent candidates, of which 15 candidates took the 2018 General Education Program and 29 candidates took the 2006 General Education Program; in the afternoon, at the Le Loi High School exam site for candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program, there were 16 absent candidates./.
