Students across the province eagerly return to school

On the morning of August 28, over 376,000 students from 609 educational institutions in Son La province returned to school for the 2025-2026 school year in a joyful and excited atmosphere.

On the first day of school, schools organized many activities, such as: Practicing to prepare for the opening ceremony; getting students acquainted with the new learning environment, visiting classrooms, functional rooms, and living areas; disseminating school and class rules; instructing on learning methods, organizing collective activities, thematic activities to practice social skills, implementing study plans and preparations for the opening day... These activities contributed to creating a joyful, friendly atmosphere, helping students quickly integrate, gain more confidence, and enthusiasm to enter the new school year.

According to the 2025-2026 school year schedule of the Provincial People's Committee, on the morning of September 5, 2025, educational institutions in Son La province will simultaneously organize the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, connecting online with the National Convention Center - where the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ) will take place.
