Dak Lak – 80 years of development journey with the Country

At the opening ceremony this morning (August 28), comrades: Cao Thi Xuan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee; Lu Ngoc Cu, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and many representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors visited the province's exhibition area.

With the theme “Dak Lak – 80 years of development journey with the Country”, the province’s exhibition booth brings to the public a space rich in identity, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity.

On an area of 500 m², Dak Lak's exhibition space is designed to be open, creating continuity and enhancing interaction for visitors. The exhibition content is arranged according to the "Independence - Freedom - Happiness" circuit, linking together into a continuous journey, reflecting the 80-year journey of formation and development of the province.

The architectural form has a modern style, harmoniously combined with typical local cultural elements such as: brocade motifs, water wave patterns, elephant symbols, Ganh Da Dia, etc. to honor cultural identity, introduce economic , cultural, social and environmental achievements of the province, and at the same time create aesthetic highlights for the entire space.

The exhibition space includes 6 main contents: The space displays 160 typical images, recreating the historical process, the renovation process and outstanding achievements of the province in 8 decades.

Digital technology experience space, with interactive LED sand table of new administrative map, 360-degree virtual reality experience area of typical destinations such as Dray Nur Waterfall, Chu Yang Sin National Park, Ganh Da Dia..., along with 3D photo booth and digitized data of artifacts.

Traditional cultural heritage performance area, with gongs, lithophones, Xoang dance, folk songs of Bai Choi, Ho Ba Trao...

Traditional craft space, where artisans demonstrate brocade weaving, pottery making, net weaving, sedge weaving… for visitors to experience.

Area to promote key agricultural and industrial products, from coffee, macadamia, tuna, cashews... to electronic components and pharmaceuticals.

Unique culinary space, introducing dishes associated with Dak Lak such as grilled chicken, bamboo rice, and ocean tuna.

In particular, the reception area is cozy with Buon Ma Thuot coffee space and tourism publications, creating a highlight to promote local culture and tourism.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak, Le Phuc Long, said: “This exhibition is a political and cultural event of special significance. With the theme “Dak Lak – 80 years of development journey with the Country”, the province comprehensively introduces the outstanding achievements over the past 80 years, from economy, culture, society, to national defense, security, Party building and political system. This is also an opportunity for Dak Lak to strongly promote its image, potential, and strengths after merging administrative units, introducing development strategies and key projects calling for investment…”.

According to Mr. Le Phuc Long, in addition to arousing pride in the revolutionary tradition, the exhibition also opens up important opportunities for Dak Lak to expand cooperation, attract investment and promote tourism. The image of “New Dak Lak” - a destination converging the majestic beauty of mountains, forests, islands and diverse cultural identities will be introduced to the public, friends at home and abroad.

Participating in the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day, Dak Lak not only brought a unique display booth but also affirmed its role and responsibility in the overall development process of the nation.

This is also an opportunity for the province to spread the message: from a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, Dak Lak is firmly on the journey of innovation, integration and aspiration to rise strongly in the new era.
