Introducing two valuable books towards the National Party Congress at the National Achievements Exhibition

Within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition held at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), on August 28, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the Central Public Security Party Committee (Ministry of Public Security) to introduce the books "When the people need, when the people are in difficulty, there is the Public Security" and "The Communist Party of Vietnam through congresses - Historic decisions".

This is an important event to open the book exhibition activities held within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

The book "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the police" is an important publication compiled under the direction of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, affirming the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security force, absolutely loyal to the Party, to the Fatherland, closely attached to the people, "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people".

The book is a rich collection of documents, stories, and authentic and touching images about the silent and immense contributions of the People's Public Security force throughout the history of the revolution, especially in peacetime. Through that, the book pays tribute to and acknowledges the contributions and sacrifices of the People's Public Security officers and soldiers regardless of danger in the process of performing the task of ensuring security and order, serving the Fatherland and serving the people.

The book “The Communist Party of Vietnam through Congresses - Historical Decisions” edited by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, is a special publication of the Truth National Political Publishing House to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The book analyzes and clarifies the historical decisions of the Party at each congress, guiding the entire Party, army and people to organize and carry out revolutionary tasks in accordance with the requirements of the new situation.

In the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Thong, former General Secretary of the Central Theoretical Council and comrade Nguyen Duc Ha, former Head of the Party Basic Department, Central Organization Committee shared about the content, value, meaning and core message of the two books.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, affirmed that the compilation, editing and publication of the book "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the Police" is a continuation of the concretization of the Regulations on coordination in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety between the Ministry of Public Security and the National Political Publishing House, Truth, in the past time.

He emphasized that the content of the book truly reflects the spirit of being close to the people, understanding the people, and serving the people of the People's Public Security force; clearly showing the "blood" relationship between the Public Security and the people. This will be an important document for Party committees at all levels to study and research in order to serve the political tasks of Party organizations in the People's Public Security force.

With the spirit that our Party's history is "a golden history book", the book "The Communist Party of Vietnam through Congresses - Historical Decisions" has special significance in reviewing the Party's precious traditions, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam stated that each Party Congress is an important historical milestone recording the victories, achievements and lessons learned along with the maturity of theoretical thinking and leadership activities of our Party in practice. The content of the book shows that, over the past 95 years, our Party has made constant efforts, closely following the practical situation in the country and the world to issue correct and creative policies and strategies to help the Vietnamese revolution overcome all difficulties, hardships and sacrifices to achieve great and glorious victories, build and protect the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam to develop more and more strongly, and the people's lives to become more and more prosperous and happy.

Those decisions are an important basis for guiding our entire Party, army and people in organizing and implementing all revolutionary tasks in accordance with the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Faced with the requirements and tasks of the new era - the era of national advancement, our Party continues to strengthen the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; fight to prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation", firmly protect the revolutionary achievements and innovation achievements of our people and our nation.

On this occasion, to spread the value and meaning of the two special publications, the Truth National Political Publishing House presented the books "When the people need, when the people are in difficulty, there is the Police" and "The Communist Party of Vietnam through congresses - Historic decisions" to leaders of the Party, State, central ministries, branches and some units under the Ministry of Public Security.
