Muong Hung Youth Union has many practical projects and tasks

Youth Union of Muong Hung commune launched a campaign to clean up village roads and alleys.

Muong Hung commune was newly established on the basis of merging two communes Muong Hung and Chieng Cang. Immediately after operating under the new model, the commune's Youth Union quickly promoted its pioneering role, arousing the spirit of dedication of youth union members in socio -economic development and new rural construction.

Comrade Vi Van Trang, Secretary of the Muong Hung Commune Youth Union, said: The commune Youth Union has 1,300 members, operating in 60 affiliated branches. Implementing the national target program on new rural construction, since the beginning of the year, the commune Youth Union has mobilized over 500 members to participate in pouring concrete on traffic roads; over 1,000 members participated in environmental sanitation, planting and caring for flowers along the roads, creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape for the villages; launched a general cleaning campaign at the commune People's Committee office, the Martyrs' Monument area and the Muong Hung Banyan Tree Historical Site, attracting over 400 youth union members to participate.

Implementing the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and the 2025 Exam Support Program, the Commune Youth Union coordinated with Chieng Khuong High School to support 200 breakfasts, more than 500 snacks, more than 500 bottles of water, distribute more than 200 sets of school supplies, and cook 200 free lunches for students in difficult circumstances. Helping them participate in the exam smoothly, successfully and achieve high results.

Accompanying young people in economic development and career establishment, Muong Hung Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Transaction Office of Song Ma Social Policy Bank to support loans for start-ups and production and business development for young people, with a total outstanding loan of over 33 billion VND, with 596 youth union households borrowing capital. Thereby, many effective economic models led by young people have emerged, such as models of raising bamboo rats, growing longan, growing squash, raising cattle and buffalo in cages... with an income of hundreds of millions of VND/year.

Promoting the spirit of "Wherever needed, there are youth, wherever difficult, there are youth", during the flood in early August, which affected many households in Muong Hung commune, more than 300 youth union members were present in time to help people clean up their houses, transport belongings, overcome the consequences, contributing to stabilizing the lives of people in areas affected by natural disasters.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Phuc, Chairman of Muong Hung Commune People's Committee, assessed: The Youth Union has advised the commune to implement many practical activities and tasks, such as: Green Sunday, organizing gratitude activities, and resource activities on major holidays. Regularly organizing village beautification, handling black spots of waste causing environmental pollution, clearing sewers... contributing to completing the criteria for building new rural areas.

With enthusiasm and pioneering spirit, Muong Hung youth are continuing to join hands with the Party Committee, government and people to build new rural areas with specific projects and tasks, not only contributing to changing the face of the homeland but also affirming the role of the young generation in the cause of socio-economic development in the locality.
