Entering the 11th edition, Jun Pham was given a new role - as the leader of the project "Scars of Life", continuing the journey that Ngo Thanh Van has built and implemented for over 10 years.

The 11th “Scars of Life” kick-off event was held on the afternoon of September 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the program’s return after a 2-year hiatus.

This year, the program will be hosted by male singer Jun Pham, who has been involved with the project since the early days as a member of the 365 music group.

Jun Pham was trusted by Ngo Thanh Van to host the program Scars of Life.

Throughout his career, with his own projects, Jun Pham always dedicates the awards he has won to support children with congenital heart disease through the program "Heartbeat Vietnam".

Most recently, through the program Anh trai vu ngan cong gai with the song Neu mot mai toi bay len troi by musician Hua Kim Tuyen, Jun Pham and the talented people in the program called for donations to send to 47 children in difficult circumstances due to the impact of storm No. 3.

The male artist admitted a lot of pressure but hopes the program will spread more strongly.

When asked for more details about the plan for the 11th "Scar of Life", Jun Pham also shared that because he was just assigned to this role, he needed time to think. His goal is to do community campaigns to make the program more widely accessible. The male artist admitted that this is a difficult role and he currently does not know where to start. However, he also said that he will do it differently from the way his senior Ngo Thanh Van has done it in the past.

Ngo Thanh Van has devoted all her heart to Scars of Life for over a decade.

Meanwhile, actress Ngo Thanh Van shared that after more than a decade of organizing 10 times, the program has raised more than 3 million USD, saving lives and opening new lives for 2,768 children. However, due to the general economic difficulties, fundraising has become much more difficult than before.

"Therefore, "Scars of Life" must continue its journey of calling and searching, hoping that benefactors and sponsors will continue to accompany us to promptly bring heart surgeries to children in difficult circumstances, helping their dreams come true," she shared.

The 11th "Scars of Life" has the theme Shape of Dreams. The program hopes to paint a colorful picture of intertwined dreams. That is the dream of the community, of philanthropists and artists about bringing the opportunity to live a healthy life to children with congenital heart disease, helping them go to school... Each surgery is a door opening to a new world , where children's dreams can fly freely.

Jun Pham is both the director and actor in the short film Paper Plane.

The 11th "Scars of Life" Gala Night will be held on November 23 in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the launch event, the organizers also screened the short film Paper Plane - an emotional story about the dreams of children with congenital heart disease, directed by Jun Pham himself 5 years ago, as a way to mark the beginning of a new journey for "Scars of Life".
